Clear View Stables is an active member of the Western Pennsylvania Dressage Association

We offer English riding lessons for everyone -- from the very beginner with no horse knowledge to those who have the highest goals of horsemanship and wish to excel in correct classical equitation. Photo above was taken October 2007 of two young accomplished riders who are good friends and riding bareback and having great fun. Even the tiniest rider learns to interact with other riders and horses and learns safety, horse care and maintenance and rider technique. Have questions? You'll likely find the answers here about our lesson program and what you'll want to know to get started.

Riding has a therapeutic value, as well, that promotes good health and a good life for both horse and rider. And, good rider training can lead to positive behavior influences that improve lifestyle and workstyle, including patience, attitude, negotiating, compromising and finding true balance in nature with horses, that is often much different, but very applicable and as challenging as the other world we live in every day.

Lesson emphasis is based on exercises and techniques for body movement needed to follow in harmony -- in a walk, a trot and a canter. Our goal is to develop the horse and the rider's athletic talent and create balance in motion.

If you're new to Clear View Stables and have horses and interested in lessons, we have 26 stable suites for boarding and caring for your horses that are second-to-none. Just as important to owners, we have a wonderful horse and rider community who spend much of their leisure time here in scenic splendor with their horses and their fellow horsemen and horse-women!

Why Clear View Stables?
