Riding has a therapeutic value, as well, that promotes good health and a good life for both horse and rider. And, good rider training can lead to positive behavior influences that improve lifestyle and
work style, including patience, attitude, negotiating, compromising and finding true balance in nature with horses, that is often much different, but very applicable and as challenging as the other world we live in every day. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Lesson emphasis is based on exercises and techniques for body movement needed to follow in harmony -- in a walk, a trot and a canter. Our goal is to develop the horse and the rider's athletic talent and create balance in motion. |

Introducing Thersilla
Oberbarnscheidt,
|
|
teaching at Clear
View Stables |
|
|
From the time she
was young, riding has been a
constant in her life. Tessy
started riding when she was 8 yo
in her home country Germany. She
worked with well known dressage
and jumping trainers right from
the start: Karin Rehbein,
Wolfgang Raabe(European Champion
Jumping), Thomas Voss and
others. |
|
|
Schleswig-Holstein the part of
Germany where she rode is he
German „horse county“ with
multiple shows held each weekend
and where the „Holsteiner“ is
bred. |
|
|
Very quickly
Tessy started to show horses
first on local and regional
shows and since age 15 on
national level. Her instructors
always made sure that who wants
to jump over fences is also able
to ride dressage with a good
seat and the correct aids and
position. So Tessy successfully
showed to 4th level dressage and
5 feet jumping courses over
several years.
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
Tessy received the bronze, silver
and bronze with laurel medal (4th level dressage
and jumping above 65%) in Germany and got her
trainer license in 1999 from Joh. Beck
Broichsitter who worked as head trainer at the
Spanish School in Vienna before.
|
|
|
| |
After finishing High school Tessy
got her degree as a businesswomen in wholesale
and export trades at Mercedes Benz Germany.
Afterwards she started Medical school at
University of Kiel in 1999 and graduated as an
MD PhD in 2005. She worked as a physician in
Nephrology until the birth of her daughter
Annabelle in June 2008. |
|
|
| |
Since Tessy and her family moved
to the US she already competed successfully in
local and USDF/USEF shows with her own as well
with several training horses up to 2nd level
Dressage and 3’ Jumping. She is currently
training 3rd level dressage and 3’3“ courses at
Clear View. |
|
|
| |
Tessy is welcoming new students
who are interesting in Dressage and Jumping as
well as talented horses for training, showing or
marketing.
