Located in the beautiful scenic hills of southwestern Pennsylvania, 57 acres of pasture and woodlands belong to Clear View Stables, Inc. July 19 & 26, 2008 -- Clear View Rides at Saxonburg. You have to get up real early in the morning to ride with us. Much preparation takes place the night before, and morning at the barn on show day begins around 5:30 a.m. The horses are all sparkling and their riders are all filled with anticipation of the day. It was a warm one, too. We did well and brought home quite a few ribbons. The following week two of our members participated in a hunter/jumper show and really brought home the ribbons. June 22, 2008 -- Clear View's Fun Show was a great success. Many young riders "showed" for the very first time. Family and friends watched on as they maneuvered the jumping course with great confidence. Other students participated in Equitation classes. Afternoon schedule included Dressage tests in the outdoor arena. Great fun for everyone -- riders and spectators! Click on the photo to the right and see pics from the Fun Show!

September 30, 2007 -- Clear View Rides at Coventry Equestrian Center, Dressage Schooling Show in Washington County. See slideshow. A picture perfect day, and we brought home some ribbons, too! We're looking forward to at least one more away show this year with hard work ahead of us this winter and some great clinics. Thank you, Donna, for taking great photos for us.

July 21, 2007 -- Clear View Rides at Horse on Course Dressage Schooling Show in Saxonburg. See slideshow. A beautiful day and meeting riders from other barns entering classes, as well. For our riders who trailered their horses to their first outside Show, it was certainly an education and learning experience that will be remembered for the next Shows. And watching accomplished riders in higher level classes was a special treat! Having some of our Clear View family come out and join us for the day made it great! May 20, 2007 -- Spring Horse Show. Some wind kept the program to the indoor arena, but lots of practice and activity outside, too. It's a wonderful family and friends affair. Riders prepare well in advance and make quite an event out of it, and share so much -- ground training, riding and bathing so that every horse is sparkling, and with carefully braided manes and tails. The Show included a miniature horse-drawn cart demonstration, and four-foot jumping featuring Odessey with Chris Messner. This can be heart-pounding for those who haven't become "one" in balance and motion with horses with so much passion. See slideshow.
